We are a loose collective of dreamers, makers, and organizers imagining a solarpunk Los Angeles — a city that is green, cooperative, and beautiful.

What is Solarpunk?

Solarpunk is a movement that asks: what does a sustainable, just, and joyful future look like? It’s part aesthetic, part politics, part practice. It draws on Afrofuturism, Indigenous knowledge, anarchism, and ecological science to envision communities powered by renewable energy, rooted in mutual aid, and rich in biodiversity.

What We Do

• Organize community events, skill shares, and repair cafes
• Publish writing on ecology, urbanism, and radical imagination
• Connect LA’s sustainability and justice communities
• Build and document DIY solar, urban farming, and infrastructure projects
